Whether you’re a signed band or musician or an unsigned band or musician, no matter what your musical style, Countdown Entertainment listens to all music submissions. If you’re trying to find out how to get signed, keep reading. Submitting your music is the first step. If you submit your music link via the online music submission form, your music submission form is printed and the URL checked, logged and scheduled for a listening session with the Music Review Committee. If you submit your material by snail mail, your package is immediately opened upon its arrival at the offices of Countdown Entertainment and scheduled for a listening session by the Music Review Committee. If you’re mailing from within the U.S., please do not send packages by Certified Mail. The Music Review Committee meets twice a month and listens to all the music submitted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Music is not separated by style or type. Its merit is based on how successful the committee believes it could be in the worldwide marketplace. Who are the members of the Music Review Committee? The Music Review Committee is comprised of music managers, radio DJs and club DJs, booking agents, music producers and other industry professionals. After the Music Review Committee listens to your music or that of your artists, they assess the goals for your music career or that of your artist, the press clippings (if applicable) and other material or information you send with your music CD or online music submission form. If they like your music and feel it is viable in today’s marketplace, it is forwarded to James Citkovic, president of Countdown Entertainment, who will then contact you personally to discuss your music. Please keep in mind, that you will only be contacted if Countdown Entertainment is interested. No material is returned.
